I am presently the manager of the B.C. Shorestation Oceanographic Program, also known as the Lighthouse program, and am developing automated systems so that we can continue gathering oceanographic data at the Lighthouses which are scheduled to be automated. We are also gathering "ship-of-opportunity" data from the North Pacific and produce monthly temperature contours for climatological research. I am interested in partnerships in data gathering and am developing an instrument package to be used on ships of opportunity to gather temperature and salinity data.
