Upper Ocean Thermal Programme

The Upper Ocean Thermal Programme (UOT) was started as part of the World Ocean Circulation Experiment (WOCE) and has since been taken over by the Climate Variability and Predictability project of the World Climate Research Programme. ISDM's tasks within the UOT are interwoven with the real-time tasks accomplished as part of its role in the Global Temperature Salinity Programme and through delayed-mode data exchange with US NODC.
