Thermosalinographs

ISDM receives, processes and archives surface temperature and salinity observations transmitted on the Global Telecommunications System in the international TRACKOB code form.  Only minimal checks are made on the data; there may still be errors in positions, times and observed values.

ISDM supports international programmes such as GTSPP and SOOP  by presenting here information about the observation programmes.

Data and Products

• TRACKOB Location Maps
  The maps show the availability of these data.  They portray the locations of TRACKOB messages received in each month. Those with surface salinity measurements are shown in a different colour from those without.
