Data and Products

  • Ocean Monitoring Workstation Products (OMW)
The Ocean Monitoring Workstation processes all beam modes of RADARSAT satellite images to extract information from the sea surface.
  • Operational Remote Sensing (BIO)
A time series of sea-surface temperature images describing the state of the Northwest Atlantic used to study the interrelation between fisheries and ecosystem functions.
  • Remote Sensing - Sea Surface Temperature (MLI)
Data is processed to calculate sea surface temperatures. The images are used to generate a complete national coverage for each day and averages over many days.
  • Satellite Images 'Quick Look' Archive (IOS)
Search the IOS/OS Data Inventory for Satellite sample images (AVHRR and SeaWiFS).
  • Satellite Imagery (IOS)
Images from the AVHRR on the NOAA series of polar-orbiting weather satellites, the SeaWiFS sensor on the Seastar satellite and the MERIS sensor on the European Space Agency’s Envisat satellite.
