Climate Indices

Select climate indices according to following criteria:











  • Time series: evolution of observations (inter-annual variability)
  • Seasonal/annual cycle: monthly or seasonal "normals" for a year's period, calculated using a large number of years (preferably the 1971-2000 period).
  • Anomalies: evolution of anomalies (observations - normals)
